Sear in hot pan then finish to your cooking liking in the oven. Remove, cover, rest. slice. season + enjoy with crushed salt, garlic butter or your favourite sauce.

Why we love it? 

Tenderness like no other beef cut. So soft, you can slice it with a butter knife. A great treat for adults, we also love this meat for introducing little mouths to good meat. Being so soft, one small fillet, sliced thin through some stir fried rice makes for a lovely meal for 6-7 kiddos. Great when teeth are not all through but you have little carnivores!

Why hang for 6 weeks v. 3? 

Double the hanging – double the flavour. This steak is full of the meaty flavour you get from being hung for 6 weeks.

Shelf Life?

We recommend eating as soon as possible on receipt but it is good for 7 days.
